Vinted Users Share Anger Regarding Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has updated its size classifications for female and kids' apparel but did not contact every member regarding the update.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show a modified sizing category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Changes
Earlier, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Shopper Accounts
Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount following partial earnings loss," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options following member complaints.
