That it took as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their hitters to possess a record if not provided the chance.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, should it happen, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship need to hear.
